Executive Director of the State Energy & Environmental Impact Center at NYU School of Law David J. Hayes moderated a press conference co-sponsored by NYU Washington, DC and the State Energy & Environmental Impact Center, a non-partisan center at the NYU School of Law, that featured Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, and Connecticut Attorney General William Tong to announce the release of the State Impact Center's new Special Report (Climate & Health Showdown in the Courts) on the cumulative climate change, economic and public health impacts of the Trump administration's environmental deregulatory agenda.

The Special Report details the extraordinary stakes surrounding many of the key legal battles ahead in 2019, including the EPA’s rollback of the Clean Power Plan, the EPA’s rollback of its national Clean Car Standards, the EPA's rollback of its existing rule on Glider Trucks, the EPA's rollback of methane emissions standards for the oil and gas industry, BLM's rollback of methane emissions standards from oil and gas operations on public lands and the EPA's delay in enforcing standards for methane emissions from landfills.
